Creamy dill and green onion baked halibut: a showstopper for dinner parties or weeknights.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds halibut fillet, cut into 6 pieces
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 475°F (245°C).
  • Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by greasing it.
  • Season the halibut with a sprinkle of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Lay the halibut in the prepared greased baking dish.
  • Mix the green onions, mayonnaise, sour cream, and dill in a bowl.
  • Evenly coat each halibut piece with the flavorful green onion mixture.
  • Cook the fish in the preheated oven until it turns opaque and easily flakes with a fork, which should take around 20 minutes.
  • Take out from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes prior to serving.
