Smoked ham glazed with tangy mustard, topped with sweet pineapple slices and maraschino cherries.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 (4.5 pound) butt-end smoked ham
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) can pineapple rings, drained
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained
  • 0.25 cup whole cloves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, and dry mustard in a bowl and whisk until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Arrange the ham in a baking dish, cut side down. Top with pineapple rings and maraschino cherries, securing with toothpicks if necessary. Insert cloves into the ham, then baste everything with pineapple juice glaze.
  • Roast the ham in the oven until the glaze has baked onto it, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, remembering to baste it with glaze every 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven broiler.
  • Broil the ham and pineapple slices until they form a golden crust, approximately 5 minutes.
