Amish-inspired baked oatmeal with cinnamon, brown sugar, and cranberries from Pennsylvania.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth. Gently fold in dried cranberries. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake in the oven until the top turns a beautiful golden brown, approximately 40 minutes.
