Ingredients:
  • 2 salmon steaks, skin on, bones removed
  • 131.25 gm soy sauce
  • 2 lemons
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice into a spacious dish, big enough for the salmon steaks. Add the soy sauce. Gently place the salmon in the dish, ensuring the marinade coats evenly by flipping it over once.
  • Wrap each salmon steak individually in tin foil, creating a snug base for the salmon. This allows for generous drizzling of marinade for a tender "poaching effect" during baking, ensuring moist and fully cooked meat.
  • Pour sufficient marinade into the foil with the salmon steaks to cover at least half a centimeter of the base. Seal the foil over the top of each steak to completely cover them.
  • Transfer the steaks wrapped in foil to a baking tray and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes.
  • Unwrap the salmon steaks and serve, with the option to drizzle with any remaining marinade from the foil.
