Savory ground beef and veggies in a rich tomato sauce layered with spaghetti, melted Cheddar, and creamy mushroom soup, topped with Parmesan and baked to perfection. A crowd-pleasing main course!
Ingredients:
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped green bell peppers
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • First, boil a pot of water with a pinch of salt. Add spaghetti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until it's perfectly al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat up a large skillet over medium-high heat and saute onions, green peppers, and ground beef until beef is browned and vegetables are softened. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, and oregano, then simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. 2. Layer half of the cooked spaghetti into the prepared dish, followed by half of the meat mixture and 1 cup of mild Cheddar cheese. Repeat this layering. 3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup and water until smooth, then pour it over the casserole. 4. Sprinkle the dish with Parmesan cheese before baking.
  • Place in a warm oven for 30-35 minutes. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before enjoying.
