Baked cinnamon cheesecake-stuffed apple, versatile with any apple variety. Perfect winter dessert, pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 apple
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Remove the apple stem and core, leaving the center about 1 1/2 inches wide without cutting through the bottom. Combine cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar in a small cup. Reserve half of the mixture and blend the remaining with cream cheese and dried cranberries.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon sugar into the apple's cavity, fill with creamy cheese mixture, top with more cinnamon sugar, and place in a baking dish.
  • Bake until the apple is easily pierced with a fork, about 35 to 40 minutes.
