Jumbo shrimp stuffed with seasoned bread, a delicious and elegant dish.
Ingredients:
  • 40 unsalted soda crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine, or as needed
  • 16 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined, with tails
Instructions:
  • Combine crushed crackers, bread crumbs, and garlic powder in a medium bowl and set aside.
  • Combine butter and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Drizzle over crackers. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and pepper; mix until blended. Gently fold in white wine, adding just enough to bind the mixture.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Butterfly the shrimp with a sharp knife and place them back-side up in a large baking dish. Fill each shrimp with generous spoonfuls of the cracker mixture.
  • Bake in the oven until the cracker mixture is lightly browned, the shrimp is opaque, and tails have curled, for around 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
