Baked taco dip: spicy taco meat with salsa and melted Cheddar cheese. Ready in minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1.5 cups salsa
  • 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) for perfect baking results.
  • Evenly spread the cream cheese in an 8x8-inch baking dish.
  • Brown and cook the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked, about 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in water and taco seasoning mix, then simmer until most of the liquid evaporates, around 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Evenly layer the meat mixture on top of the creamy cream cheese in the baking dish. Drizzle the zesty salsa over the savory meat layer. Finish off with a generous sprinkle of sharp Cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake the taco dip in a preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, for approximately 20 minutes.
