Layered ground beef, tomatoes, spicy taco sauce, sour cream, and Cheddar cheese baked into a delicious hot taco dip. Perfect with tortilla chips!
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons hot taco sauce, or more to taste
  • 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) package tortilla chips, or more as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • 1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef until crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes, then drain excess grease. Add bell pepper and taco seasoning to the beef, then spread the mixture into a casserole dish.
  • Layer the ground beef mixture with tomatoes, green onions, and taco sauce. Spread a generous layer of sour cream followed by a sprinkle of Cheddar cheese on top.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, usually for 10 to 20 minutes. Enjoy with tortilla chips.
