Pan-fried chicken breasts marinated in flavorful balsamic vinegar sauce for a sweet and tangy dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.33333334326744 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
  • Combine chicken broth, balsamic vinegar, sugar, Italian seasoning, and garlic in a bowl and whisk. Marinate chicken breasts in the mixture for 10 minutes per side.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm up some olive oil. Take the chicken out of the marinade, keeping the marinade aside. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until both sides are nicely browned and the chicken is cooked through, approximately 7 minutes per side.
  • Sear the chicken breasts in the flavorful marinade in a skillet, turning occasionally, until the sauce slightly thickens, for approximately 5 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches at least 165°F (74°C) at its thickest part.
