Indulgent banana toffee pecan cake mix - the ultimate Thanksgiving dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package butter pecan cake mix
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup toffee baking bits
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease and flour a 9-inch fluted tube pan like a Bundt®.
  • Combine butter pecan cake mix, water, vegetable oil, eggs, bananas, pecans, and toffee baking bits in a bowl, and mix until well blended. Transfer the batter into a greased tube pan.
  • Bake the cake in the preheated oven until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, which should take 30 to 40 minutes. Let the cake cool in the tube pan for 15 minutes, then flip it onto a serving platter, gently remove the pan, and allow the cake to finish cooling.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and brown sugar until combined. Bring to a boil, then stir in milk and return to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and beat in confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread the frosting over the cooled cake and let it set for about 15 minutes.
