Indulgent toasted waffles topped with bananas, caramel sauce, and pecans for a decadent dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 40g unsalted butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 4 ladyfinger bananas, peeled, sliced
  • 100ml cream
  • 2.20 gm vanilla extract
  • 4 waffles
  • Vanilla ice cream, to serve
  • 75g pkt pecans, chopped
Instructions:
  • Melt 10g of butter with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar in a frying pan over low heat. Add the banana and sauté, flipping occasionally for 2-3 minutes until golden. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Combine the cream, remaining sugar, and butter in a pan. Stir over low heat until everything is melted. Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes until it thickens. Take it off the heat and mix in the vanilla extract. Set aside.
  • Crisp up the waffles until golden. Layer on creamy ice cream, fresh bananas, and rich caramel sauce. Finish with a sprinkle of crunchy pecans before serving.
