One-of-a-kind, budget-friendly banana cake that's easy to make and irresistibly delicious - guaranteed crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 1.0625 cups butter
  • 1.5 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 0.25 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 teaspoon banana extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf tin.
  • Whisk the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
  • Whisk butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix egg yolks with banana essence and milk, then combine with the butter mixture. Gently fold in bananas and walnuts. Sift flour and fold in. Carefully add whipped egg whites. Transfer batter to the baking tin.
  • Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack, then slice and serve.
