Quick and easy banana chocolate chip bars.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 0.66666668653488 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan by greasing and flouring it.
  • In a large bowl, blend together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Gently fold in mashed banana. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed. Spread the batter in the prepared pan.
  • Bake in a warm oven for 20 minutes until firm. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
