Whip up a delicious no-bake snack bar using Banana Nut Cheerios® and peanut butter!
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups Banana Nut Cheerios™ cereal
  • 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/3 cup roasted unsalted sunflower nuts
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 9-inch square pan by spraying it with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine cereal, cranberries, almonds, and sunflower seeds.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, bring corn syrup, brown sugar, and peanut butter to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Take off the heat and mix in the vanilla.
  • Drizzle syrup mixture over cereal blend and toss gently until coated. Press mixture firmly into pan to set. Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes. Cut into bars by slicing into 6 rows horizontally and 4 rows vertically.
