Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 0.66666668653488 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.3333333730698 cups rolled oats
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 cup rolled oats
  • 0.33333334326744 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Combine flour with a generous amount of oats, a hint of salt, and a touch of baking soda.
  • Combine butter (or margarine) and brown sugar in a large bowl until creamy. Mix in the eggs, followed by the bananas and vanilla. Blend the flour mixture into the banana mixture. Transfer the batter to a greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
  • Combine 3/4 cup oats, 1/3 cup brown sugar, melted butter or margarine, walnuts, and cinnamon until you get a crumbly mixture. Spread evenly over the batter.
  • Place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 40-45 minutes until fully cooked. Allow to cool on a rack.
