Indulgent Hawaiian bread French toast casserole with bananas Foster flavors - quick and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • butter-flavored cooking spray (such as Pam®)
  • 0.5 (12 count) package Hawaiian bread rolls (such as King's®)
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1.5 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 bananas, sliced 1/8-inch thick
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.25 cup butter, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Cut the bread rolls in half horizontally while keeping them connected as one piece.
  • In a large shallow bowl, vigorously whisk eggs until smooth. Gently fold in milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until a smooth batter forms.
  • 1. Dunk the lower half of bread rolls into the batter, ensuring both sides are coated, and arrange them in a baking dish. Cover the bread with sliced bananas, followed by a sprinkle of brown sugar and pecans, and dot with cubes of butter. Dip the upper half of bread rolls in the batter, coating both sides, and place them on top.
  • Bake in the oven until the center is cooked through with a beautiful golden-brown top, approximately 25 minutes.
