Revamp classic popcorn with a kid-friendly BBQ twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2.40 gm onion salt
  • 57.50 gm vegetable oil
  • 125.00 ml popping corn
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together paprika, oregano, thyme, onion salt, and half of the oil.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the remaining oil. Add 2 popcorn kernels. The oil is ready when the kernels start swirling slowly in a circle.
  • Add the rest of the corn to the pan, then cover it tightly. Shake the pan gently as the corn starts popping. Once the popping stops, remove the pan from the heat. Transfer the popcorn to a bowl, discard any unpopped kernels. Mix in the paprika mixture and toss to coat evenly. Let it cool before dividing the popcorn into snap-lock bags for convenient packing in lunchboxes.
