Barbecue glazed beef liver that's sure to please the whole family, even picky eaters. Double the sauce for a delicious topping on noodles or rice.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound beef liver, thinly sliced
  • 0.33333331346512 cup water
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a resealable plastic bag. Add liver slices one at a time, seal, and shake to coat evenly.
  • Combine water, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  • 1. In a skillet over medium heat, warm up oil. Sear liver slices until golden brown on both sides. Pour in sauce, bring to a boil, then lower the heat and gently simmer for 20 minutes, until liver is tender.
