Impress your guests with this flavorful BBQ Creole prawns recipe!
Ingredients:
  • 20.00 gm mild paprika
  • 20.00 ml cracked black pepper
  • 3 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tsp onion powder
  • 4.80 gm sea salt flakes
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 20.00 ml dried oregano
  • 20.00 ml dried thyme
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 2kg uncooked large king prawns
  • 1 fresh long red chilli, halved lengthways, thinly sliced (deseeded if desired)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 125.00 ml small fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • Lemon or lime wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a small bowl, mix spices and dried herbs. Then, generously sprinkle the spice mix over the prawns in a large bowl and toss well to coat.
  • Preheat the barbecue and oil the flat plate over medium-high heat. Cook prawns for 2-3 minutes, flipping occasionally, until they change color and are cooked through.
  • Arrange the prawns beautifully on a serving platter. Generously sprinkle with zesty chili, aromatic onion, and fresh parsley. Garnish with slices of tangy lemon and lime for a burst of citrus flavor. Serve and enjoy!
