Elevate your evening with a fiery Korean barbecue feast featuring spicy tofu.
Ingredients:
  • 3 x 320g pkts TLY Nigari Hard Stir Fry Tofu, cut into 1cm-thick slices
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) tamari (wheat-free soy sauce)
  • 60g (1/4 cup) white sugar
  • 2 tsp mustard powder
  • 2 tsp dried onion flakes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 18.40 gm vegetable oil
  • 24.00 gm sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/4 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 2 shallots, trimmed, thinly sliced diagonally
Instructions:
  • Spread the tofu evenly in a large glass or ceramic dish. Mix tamari, sugar, mustard powder, onion flakes, and garlic powder in a jug, then pour over the tofu. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to marinate.
  • Preheat a barbecue flat plate over medium-high heat, then brush it with oil. Cook the tofu for 3 minutes on each side or until caramelized. Place the tofu on a serving platter and garnish with shallots. Sprinkle sesame seeds and dried chili flakes on top.
