Tender chicken baked in flavorful homemade BBQ sauce. Simple yet delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 12 chicken thighs, skin removed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C). Combine water, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Season with salt, mustard powder, and chili powder. Allow the sauce to simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Arrange the chicken thighs in a baking dish and smother them in the sauce before sealing with a tight cover.
  • First, bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven. Then, lower the temperature to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) and continue baking for one hour. Uncover, stir, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
