Ingredients:
  • 165g butter, softened
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 2 Free Range Eggs
  • 300g plain flour
  • 2.00 gm baking powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease and line a 16cm x 26cm slice pan with baking paper, leaving some overhang on the sides. In a bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the butter and sugar until pale and creamy.
  • Add eggs one by one, beating thoroughly after each addition. Combine flour and baking powder, then stir in the milk.
  • Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool.
