A delicious vegetarian pizza topped with basil, rosemary, and goat cheese on a quick and easy frozen bread dough crust - a favorite dinner for my husband!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 sprig fresh basil, chopped
  • 1.5 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
  • 0.75 cup Italian tomato sauce
  • 4 ounces crumbled goat cheese
  • 2 sprigs fresh basil, chopped
Instructions:
  • Let the dough rise in a covered bowl until it doubles in size.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • On a floured surface, shape the dough into a 15-inch circle, rolling the edges towards the center to create a 12-inch crust. Brush the crust with olive oil, then generously sprinkle with salt, pepper, chopped basil, and rosemary. Bake in a preheated oven until the crust starts to turn golden, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Spread the crust with savory tomato sauce, and generously top with 2 sprigs of fresh chopped basil and creamy goat cheese. Bake in a preheated oven until the crust turns golden and the pizza is perfectly heated, approximately 8 more minutes.
