Mouthwatering BBQ meatball sliders on sweet Hawaiian rolls - a touchdown for your Super Bowl party!
Ingredients:
  • 12 frozen 1-inch party meatballs
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle BBQ sauce
  • 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian bread rolls
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 0.5 cup crispy onion strips
  • 3 tablespoons sliced green onions
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Simmer meatballs and barbecue sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until heated through, about 10 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  • Gently separate the rolls lengthwise, keeping them attached. Spread a light layer of butter in a 9x13 baking dish and place the bottom half of the rolls in the dish, cut side up. Reserve the remaining butter. Spoon some bbq sauce from the pan and lightly spread it over the bread.
  • Mix the Cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese in a bowl, then sprinkle half of the cheese blend over the sauce. Add pickles on top and evenly scatter onion strips.
  • Cut a 1-inch hole into the tops of each roll using a cookie cutter or small knife. Place onion strips under the top half of rolls. Mix garlic powder with melted butter and brush over rolls, letting excess drip into the holes. Fill each hole with one meatball, 1 teaspoon of sauce, and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted, removing the foil halfway through. Garnish with a sprinkle of green onions before serving.
