Beans with pancetta crumbs

Colorful and textured bean side dish to brighten any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 100g sliced pancetta, chopped (see note)
  • 125.00 ml fresh wholegrain breadcrumbs
  • 350g green beans, topped
  • 250g butter beans, topped
Instructions:
  • Cook pancetta in a non-stick pan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Turn up the heat to medium-high, then add oil, garlic, and breadcrumbs. Stir and cook for 3 minutes until they turn golden. Mix in with the pancetta and season with salt and pepper.
  • Boil beans in seasoned water for 3 to 4 minutes until tender. Drain and transfer to a bowl. Mix in breadcrumbs. Toss gently to blend. Serve and enjoy.
