Whip up a quick and delicious beef, black bean, and mushroom stir-fry in under 30 minutes for a perfect dinner option.
Ingredients:
  • 36.40 gm peanut oil
  • 400g Beef Rump Steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 100g white mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 100g Swiss brown mushrooms, quartered
  • 100g Portabella mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 red capsicum, coarsely chopped
  • 440g pkt wok-ready hokkien noodles
  • 80ml black bean sauce
  • 8.00 gm brown sugar
  • 21.00 gm lime juice
  • Sliced spring onion, to serve
  • Lime wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a wok or large frying pan over high heat, sizzle half the oil. Cook the beef in 2 batches for 2 minutes until beautifully browned. Remove to a heatproof bowl.
  • In the same wok or frying pan, heat the remaining oil over high heat. Add the red onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes until the mushrooms brown. Add noodles, black bean sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes until heated through. Garnish with spring onions and serve with lime wedges.
