Try our savory beef and cabbage soup in a convenient jar! Perfect for on-the-go meals all season.
Ingredients:
  • 4 teaspoon beef stock base
  • 1 tablespoon each Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon each dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper, plus more for garnish
  • 1 1/2 thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • 1 1/2 cooked fine egg noodles
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped sweet onion
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
  • 2 cups finely shredded cabbage
Instructions:
  • Combine beef stock base, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, minced garlic, basil, oregano, and crushed red pepper in a small bowl. Distribute the mixture evenly into 3 microwave-safe pint-size canning jars with lids.
  • Place slices of succulent roast beef, tender egg noodles, sweet onion, crunchy carrot, and crisp cabbage in an even layer. Cover and chill for up to 5 days. When ready to enjoy, refer to "Heat and Eat" instructions. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper for a finishing touch.
