Delicious bulgogi with sweet soy-sesame marinade. Easy homemade Korean BBQ steak.
Ingredients:
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onion
  • 2.5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Prepare all the required ingredients.
  • Combine soy sauce, green onion, sugar, garlic, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and pepper in a bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  • Place the flank steak slices in a shallow dish and generously coat them with the flavorful marinade. Cover the dish and let the steak marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor infusion.
  • Heat up the outdoor grill on high and lightly oil the grate before cooking.
  • Grill flank steak slices on high heat until beautifully charred and cooked to perfection, about 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  • Enjoy this dish while it's hot!
