Indulgent burger with beef patty, cheese, bacon, pineapple, egg, and barbecue sauce for the ultimate flavor explosion.
Ingredients:
  • 36.80 gm vegetable oil
  • 10 Norfolk Foods Budget Beef Burger patties
  • 10 short-cut bacon rashers
  • 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
  • 432g can pineapple slices in juice, drained
  • 10 Free Range Eggs
  • 10 Kaiser Rolls, split, toasted
  • 280g barbecue sauce
  • 10 slices tasty cheddar
  • 10 baby cos lettuce leaves, halved
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • Sliced beetroot, to serve
  • Hot chips, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Cook patties in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  • Fry the bacon in the pan for 2 minutes on each side until crispy and browned. Place it on a plate and cover to maintain its warmth.
  • After cooking the onion and pineapple separately for 4 minutes or until golden, transfer them to a plate.
  • Cook the eggs in the pan in batches until the egg whites are fully cooked.
  • On serving plates, lay out the roll bases. Spread each with half of the barbecue sauce, then layer on cheddar, lettuce, tomato, a patty, bacon, beetroot, pineapple, an egg, and onion. Drizzle the remaining barbecue sauce, add the roll tops, and serve with chips.
