Beef skewers with mint and lemon sauce

Impress guests with irresistible skewers for a memorable gathering!
Ingredients:
  • 2 (about 200g each, 2cm thick) beef sirloin steaks, thinly sliced into 5mm-thick strips
  • Sea salt flakes & freshly ground black pepper
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) vegetable oil
  • 375.00 ml firmly packed fresh mint leaves
  • 20.00 ml finely grated fresh ginger
  • 2 fresh long green chillies, coarsely chopped
  • 42.00 gm fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Skewer the beef and arrange it in a glass or ceramic dish. Sprinkle with aromatic cumin and generously season with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat a sizzling hot chargrill or BBQ plate. Drizzle skewers with a flavorful tablespoon of oil. Grill each side for 2-3 minutes until beautifully browned and perfectly cooked. Place on a plate, lightly cover with foil, and let them rest for 5 minutes. Enjoy the juicy goodness!
  • In a blender, combine the remaining oil, mint, ginger, chilli, and lemon juice until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a small serving bowl.
  • Serve the skewers on a platter alongside the refreshing mint & lemon sauce.
