Easy blackberry cobbler topped with nutmeg-infused whipped cream for a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, melted butter, and cream in a bowl to create a batter. Pour the batter over the blackberries in a 9x13-inch ungreased baking dish. Sprinkle nutmeg and 1 teaspoon of sugar over the top of the batter before baking.
  • Bake the cobbler until the top is beautifully golden, the fruit is bubbling, and a fork inserted in the center comes out clean, around 1 hour. Let it cool before enjoying.
