Overnight parfait with yogurt, chia seeds, quinoa, berries, almonds, and cinnamon for a delicious breakfast in a cup. Ideal for busy mornings.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 containers (6 oz each) Yoplait® Original yogurt French vanilla, strawberry or harvest peach
  • 4 teaspoons chia seed
  • 1 cup cooled cooked quinoa (1/4 cup uncooked)
  • 2 cups fresh fruit (mixed berries or chopped peaches)
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped toasted almonds or pecans
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Combine milk, yogurt, and chia seeds in a bowl until well mixed. Divide the mixture evenly among 4 glasses. Top each with 1/4 cup cooked quinoa.
  • Layer each with a generous amount of fresh fruit and crunchy almonds, then sprinkle with a hint of aromatic cinnamon. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes, or cover and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
