Boost banana flavor with yogurt and sliced bananas for a lighter, delicious quick bread.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 3 overripe bananas, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup banana-flavored yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease an 8x4-inch loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, cream together 1 cup of sugar and butter using an electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then gradually mix in flour and allspice until well combined. Gently fold in bananas and banana-flavored yogurt.
  • Transfer the batter into the loaf pan that has been prepared.
  • Combine 3 tablespoons of sugar and cloves in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
