Whip up a decadent caramel monkey bread in under an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup butter (do not use margarine)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 3 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened (do not use margarine)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously spray a 12-cup fluted tube cake pan with cooking spray.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, melt a generous amount of butter until it's lusciously golden. Stir in brown sugar and cream, letting the mixture come to a gentle boil while enchanting your senses with its aroma. Simmer for 2 minutes, then graciously remove from the heat. Pour this divine creation into a pan and crown it with a sprinkle of pecans for an irresistible finish.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, vanilla, and egg in a large bowl, stirring until a soft dough forms. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls.
  • Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll each ball in the sugar mixture and place them randomly in the pan. Sprinkle any extra sugar mixture on top.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 22 to 28 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a heatproof serving plate and remove the pan. Serve warm.
