Best-ever banana bread

"Quick and easy pasta dish with garlic, butter, and shrimp. Serve hot with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top."
Ingredients:
  • 2 bananas
  • 53.60 gm golden syrup
  • 168.75 gm sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 150.00 gm self-raising flour
  • Pinch of salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C (160C fan-forced) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing and lining the base.
  • Mash ripe bananas in a medium bowl, mix in golden syrup, then add sugar and stir until combined.
  • Combine an egg, sifted flour, and salt, and gently mix until just combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer onto a wire rack to cool completely.
