Moist and tasty banana bread with a secret ingredient: buttermilk for extra flavor and moisture.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.33333334326744 cup buttermilk
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions:
  • - Preheat your oven to a toasty 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Combine eggs, bananas, oil, and buttermilk in a large bowl, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate large bowl, combine sifted flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix the flour mixture into the banana mixture until combined. Gently incorporate pecans and pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
