Satisfy your brunch craving with a delicious breakfast casserole made with hash browns, eggs, pork sausage, and melty Cheddar cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 5 eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then generously grease an 8-inch square pan before adding and evenly arranging the hash brown potatoes.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage and onion until the sausage is browned and crumbled, for about 10 minutes. Remember to drain afterwards.
  • In a large bowl, vigorously whisk together eggs, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until fully blended. Pour this mixture over the potatoes and top with half of the Cheddar cheese. Layer the sausage over the cheese and sprinkle the remaining Cheddar on top. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • After baking in the preheated oven for 1 hour, remove the foil and bake the casserole until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, for about 10 minutes. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
