Delicious caramel rolls perfect for brunch, can be prepared in advance for guests.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon, or to taste
  • 2 (1 pound) loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
  • Combine the white sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • - Flatten 1 thawed loaf into a generous rectangle. Spread half of the melted butter all over the dough. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mix on top. Roll it up into a log, beginning from the long edge nearest to you. Slice the log into 1-inch pieces using a sharp serrated knife. Place the slices, cut-side up, in an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Thaw a second loaf of bread using the same method as in step 2.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt together brown sugar, vanilla ice cream, and 1/2 cup butter, stirring until well-blended, for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour the caramel mixture over the rolls in the baking pan. Cover with foil and refrigerate until the rolls double in size, for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake in the oven until beautifully golden, approximately 30 minutes. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before enjoying.
