Irresistible sweet and crunchy popcorn balls, perfect for snacking, parties, or gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 5 quarts plain popped popcorn
  • 0.75 cup light corn syrup
  • 0.25 cup margarine
  • 2 teaspoons cold water
  • 2.625 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup marshmallows
  • cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Transfer the freshly popped popcorn into a spacious bowl.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together corn syrup, butter, water, confectioners' sugar, and marshmallows until the marshmallows are melted and the mixture boils.
  • Drizzle the warm marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and mix well to ensure every kernel is evenly coated.
  • Coat hands with cooking spray and shape popcorn into balls before it cools too much to mold.
  • Wrap the balls in cellophane or plastic wrap and keep them at room temperature.
