Savory, zesty vegan Beyond Beef jerky: ideal for snacking anytime, anywhere.
Ingredients:
  • 16 ounces plant-based "ground beef" (such as Beyond Meat® Beefy Crumbles)
  • 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground red pepper
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix plant-based ground beef, liquid smoke, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, mustard, and red pepper until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Place the mixture on a spacious cutting board. Roll it out to 1/8-inch thickness with a rolling pin, then slice it into strips with a sharp knife. Carefully place the strips on the dehydrator racks, ensuring they are spread out evenly.
  • Preheat your dehydrator to 155 degrees F (68 degrees C) and let the food dry for 2 and a half hours.
  • Uncover the dehydrator and allow strips to cool for 30 minutes. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.
