Upgrade classic French Clafoutis with juicy blackberries for a fresh twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon butter, or as needed
  • 1 (6 ounce) container fresh blackberries, or more to taste
  • 0.875 cup milk
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 7 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter.
  • Gently scatter the blackberries into the baking dish.
  • Combine milk and eggs in a bowl, then use a whisk to blend in flour, sugar, and salt until the batter is silky. Gently pour the batter over the blackberries.
  • Place in the preheated oven on the middle rack and bake until eggs begin to set, approximately 25 minutes. Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and continue baking until golden brown, around 20 more minutes.
