Indulge in a delectable blackberry crisp topped with brown sugar, cinnamon, and oats. You won't be disappointed!
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups frozen blackberries
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup cold unsalted butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously grease a 1-quart baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, gently mix together blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, water, lemon juice, and vanilla until the berries are coated.
  • In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add butter and crumble until combined. Sprinkle over the berries.
  • Bake in a hot oven until the filling is bubbly, for 20 to 25 minutes.
