Indulgent blackberry crisp with buttery oat topping, ideal summer treat. Pair with ice cream for a decadent finale.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour, divided
  • 4 cups fresh blackberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a deliciously warm 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a bowl, mix together oats, brown sugar, and 1/2 cup flour. Use a pastry blender to cut in the butter until the mixture is moist and crumbly.
  • Spread luscious blackberries evenly in a charming 8-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle them with the remaining 1/4 cup of flour and toss gently to coat them. Top them off with the oat mixture for added crunch.
  • Bake until beautifully golden, about 35-40 minutes in the preheated oven.
