Indulge in a delicious blackberry peach crisp for a delightful family dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups blackberries*
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 cups sliced peaches or nectarines (3 medium)
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine blackberries and cornstarch in a large bowl, ensuring the blackberries are evenly coated. Gently fold in the peaches.
  • Spread the fruit evenly in an 8x8x2 inch square baking dish. Combine the rest of the ingredients until crumbly and then sprinkle over the fruit.
  • Bake for around 30 minutes, or until the topping is a beautiful golden brown and the fruit is tender.
