Easy and mouthwatering peach blackberry pie with pre-made crusts, fresh fruit, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups fresh blackberries
  • 3 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 double crust ready-to-use pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a piping hot 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Combine the vibrant blackberries, ripe peaches, cornstarch, and sugar in a spacious bowl.
  • Gently layer one pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan. Fill with blackberry mixture and top with the second crust. Seal the edges with a decorative crimp, cut slits for venting, and finish by brushing with melted butter and sprinkling with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Bake at the initial temperature for 15 minutes, then lower the heat and bake until the top crust is golden brown, for about 35 to 40 minutes.
