Make a scrumptious peach and blackberry cobbler for a cozy treat when fruits are in season.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfectly baked dish.
  • Combine fresh, juicy peaches and plump blackberries with 1/4 cup of sugar, warm cinnamon, and a splash of zesty lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Place butter into a 9x13-inch glass baking dish, ensuring it coats the bottom and sides evenly. In a bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until just moistened. Pour the batter into the baking dish and spread the fruit mixture evenly on top.
  • Bake until the cobbler turns a beautiful golden brown color, approximately 45 minutes, in the preheated oven.
