Elevate apple and blackberry dessert with a crispy cornflake topping.
Ingredients:
  • 6 large Gala apples, cored, chopped
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 300g frozen blackberries
  • 395g can condensed milk
  • 500.00 ml cornflakes
  • 32.50 gm shredded coconut
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan forced. Simmer apple, water, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until apple softens, around 10 minutes. Stir in blackberries and cook for an additional 3 minutes until defrosted. Transfer the mixture to a 1.5L (6 cup) baking dish.
  • Mix together the condensed milk, cornflakes, and coconut in a bowl, then scatter over the apple mixture.
  • Bake until golden and crisp, about 20 minutes. Serve with a scoop of ice cream.
