Quick and easy blender Hollandaise: rich, lemony, and delicious twist on the classic recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™)
  • 0.5 cup butter
Instructions:
  • In a blender, blend together egg yolks, lemon juice, mustard, and hot pepper sauce for about 5 seconds until smooth.
  • Place butter in a glass measuring cup and microwave for about 1 minute until hot and fully melted.
  • Blend butter into sauce in a slow, steady stream until thick and smooth, about 15 to 30 seconds.
