Delicious apple pie with a buttery crumb topping - a must-have dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon, or to taste
  • 6 Golden Delicious apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup cold butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, vegetable oil, milk, 2 teaspoons sugar, and salt in a bowl until a dough forms; press into a 9-inch pie dish to create the crust.
  • In a large bowl, mix 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon together. Toss the apples in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated, then transfer them to a pie dish.
  • Combine 1 cup of flour and brown sugar in a bowl. Use a knife or pastry blender to cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the crumbs over the apples.
  • Bake in a hot oven until golden and bubbly, for approximately 45 minutes.
